PhD Medical Research – International Health

Three-year sandwich PhD programme in international health covering infectious diseases, epidemiology, public health, health systems research, occupational health, maternal and child health, non-communicable diseases, mental health, and research methods.

Academic requirements

Candidates should already be incorporated in research activities, since a research topic and a local supervisor have to be presented at the time of application. In addition, the project has to be sufficiently funded.

English requirements

Proof of English is required, for example TOEFL at least 550 or IELTS 6.0; English-medium schooling or university education may also be accepted after assessment.

Requires a degree in medicine or a master's degree in an appropriate health-related field.
