MSc Global Health

The MSc Global Health is a professionally oriented programme at the medical faculty of the University of Bonn that prepares students for health-related management, policy, and advocacy roles in global and international contexts. It combines interdisciplinary global-health coursework with a practically oriented thesis and can also be studied part-time.

Academic requirements

Additionally, applicants must have at least one year working experience in relevant areas, for instance, the regulation of health protection, health management and planning of health care, infrastructure, etc. The work experience of one year must be fully collected before applying.

English requirements

English at CEFR B2 for non-native speakers. Native speakers from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Ireland, the United Kingdom, and the United States are exempt according to the official admission page.

Accepted bachelor fields

Applicants need a first academic degree of 240 ECTS in health, medicine, veterinary medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, public health or health sciences, psychology or psychotherapy, nursing sciences, midwifery, medical laboratory sciences, international relations, or another relevant social-science field. At least one full year of relevant professional experience must be completed before application.
