Programme Overview

The MA in Development Management is an 18-month interdisciplinary programme designed to train professionals for programme and project management in international cooperation and development cooperation. It combines development-related academic study with a strong practical orientation and a field-research component.

Admission Requirements

Academic requirements: Practical experience related to the management of development programmes and projects
Minimum GPA: The official MADM page requires at least a second-class upper-division degree or equivalent.
English requirements: The official MADM page requires minimum certified English proficiency of TOEFL iBT 79-80, IELTS 6.0, or Duolingo 110. Certain country- and language-of-instruction-based exemptions are also described on the official programme page.
Accepted bachelor fields: Suitable previous studies include political science, social science, law, economics, geography, and other subjects related to the planning and evaluation of development programmes and projects.
