Science and Technology Studies (STS)

Research-oriented master's programme in science and technology studies that examines how science, technology, and society shape one another using interdisciplinary social-science, historical, and philosophical approaches.

No fixed minimum GPA is published; admission is based on the aptitude assessment.

English requirements

Students whose native language is not English must provide recognized proof such as TOEFL with at least 88 points, IELTS with at least 6.5, or CAE/CPE grades A-C. Alternatively, 12 credits from English-taught bachelor's courses can be accepted with official university confirmation.

Accepted bachelor fields

Requires a bachelor's or equivalent degree in social sciences, psychology, the humanities, economics, STEM fields, life sciences, medicine, or law, plus 8 credits in social-science theories and methods; missing method credits can be completed through a preparatory course in the first semester.
