Research in Computer & Systems Engineering (RCSE)

The official TU Ilmenau language-certificate pages state that RCSE is an English-taught master's programme. B2 CEFR is the minimum for application and C1 CEFR is required for enrolment. Accepted English certificates include IELTS Academic, PTE Academic, TOEFL iBT, TOEFL ITP, TOEIC Listening and Reading plus TOEIC Speaking and Writing, Cambridge FCE for B2 conditional admission, Cambridge CAE for C1 direct admission, and the online formats IELTS Academic Online and PTE Academic Online.

Accepted bachelor fields

The official programme page states applicants need a bachelor's degree in a similar field. It awards 40 points for relevant majors such as computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or software engineering, and 20 points for closely related majors such as electrical engineering or automation.
