Water Science

Water Science is a multidisciplinary master's programme that addresses natural and technical water systems, urban and industrial water cycles, and water quantity and quality in a changing global environment. It combines chemistry, biology, engineering, and environmental perspectives on water analysis, treatment, and management.

Academic requirements

Documented practical courses in essential chemical, analytical and microbiological topics; A completely filled out application form; Students from non-EU member countries must enclose a letter of recommendation from their home institution.

Minimum GPA

Overall grade of 3.0 or better.

English requirements

Reasonable English proficiency, for example TOEFL iBT 100, IELTS 6.5 or higher, Cambridge FCE, or CEFR B2/C1 or equivalent.

Accepted bachelor fields

Bachelor's degree in natural sciences or engineering with chemical, analytical, biological, and microbiological content; practical laboratory courses and generally an experimental bachelor's thesis related to water science are expected.
