Electronics and Data Engineering

Four-year joint SIT-TUM bachelor's programme combining electronics engineering and data engineering, with a broad curriculum across semiconductor technology, sensors, circuits, programming, IoT, big data, machine learning, and a 12-month Integrated Work Study Programme.

Academic requirements

FOR POLYTECHNIC DIPLOMA HOLDERS: Diploma holders from any of the five local polytechnic schools are welcome to apply. FOR GCE A-LEVEL HOLDERS & INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS: Applicants who graduate with GCE A-Level qualifications are eligible to apply for the Electronics and Data Engineering degree programme. Students with other qualifications (having completed a formal 12-year education equivalent to the A-Levels) are eligible to apply as well.

English requirements

The programme page refers applicants to language requirements stipulated by the German Higher Education System for the SIT-TUM route. For Singapore-Cambridge A-Level applicants, one language subject must be at least H1 and the required subject pattern must be satisfied.

Accepted bachelor fields

Applicants need a university entrance qualification. Polytechnic diploma holders, A-Level applicants, IB Diploma holders, and applicants with another formal 12-year qualification equivalent to A-Levels are eligible. The TUM route requires the stipulated German higher-education language pattern for A-Level and IB applicants.

Graduates can work as electrical and electronics engineers, application engineers, data engineers, data analysts, process engineers, and production or test engineers in semiconductor, electronics, automation, and data-driven industries.
