Question 1

What is a Letter of Recommendation (LOR) for German universities?

Accepted Answer

A Letter of Recommendation (LOR) for German universities is a formal document written by a professor, employer, or mentor vouching for your academic abilities, character, and potential. Most German university programs require 2-3 LORs as part of the application.

Question 2

How does the AI LOR Generator work?

Accepted Answer

Our AI analyzes the information you provide about yourself and your recommender's relationship with you. It then generates a professional, well-structured LOR draft that your professor or employer can review and personalize before signing. For best results, provide specific examples of projects, achievements, and skills.

Question 3

Is the AI LOR Generator free to use?

Accepted Answer

Yes! You can generate LOR drafts for free with a free account. No credit card is required. This allows you to create drafts for multiple recommenders.

Question 4

Should my professor review and edit the AI-generated LOR?

Accepted Answer

Yes, absolutely! The AI-generated draft is a starting point to save your recommender time. They MUST review, personalize, and add their authentic observations before signing. Universities value genuine recommendations that reflect the recommender's true assessment.

Question 5

How can I get the best results from the LOR generator?

Accepted Answer

Provide detailed information about your academic achievements, specific projects you worked on with the recommender, quantifiable results (e.g., 'ranked top 5% in class'), and the context of your relationship. The more specific details you provide, the more compelling the draft will be.
