Jewish Theology

The MA Jewish Theology at the University of Potsdam offers advanced study of Jewish religion, theology, philosophy, and ethics in relation to both tradition and current academic and social debates. Students can deepen their focus in Jewish studies while also engaging with community and cultural institutions.

Applicants need a first degree in Jewish Theology, Jewish Studies, Religious Studies, Theology of another denomination, Philosophy, Cultural Studies with a focus on religion, or a related field. The official programme page also requires Modern Hebrew at B1 and Biblical Hebrew at A2.
