COOP Design Research MSc Programme

This one-year master's programme develops design research as a transdisciplinary field linking material studies, social sciences, design anthropology, cultural studies, technology studies, architecture, and design history. It is taught cooperatively by Anhalt University, the Bauhaus Dessau Foundation, and Humboldt University Berlin, with coursework in Dessau and Berlin.

Academic requirements

An application on the basis of a Bachelor's degree requires one year of professional practice.

English requirements

Accepted proof includes TOEFL at least 600 paper-based or 94 iBT, IELTS Academic at least 7.0, Cambridge Main Suite of English Examinations, or equivalent proof. A degree completed in English is also accepted.

Accepted bachelor fields

A qualified bachelor's or master's degree in architecture, design, cultural studies, or a related field with a standard period of study of at least 4 years and 240 ECTS is required. The official pages also require at least one year of professional experience in architecture, design, cultural studies, or an equivalent field.
