International Business (MIB)

18-month full-time Master's degree in International Business (MIB), taught entirely in English. Provides critical understanding of contemporary concepts in business and economics with focus on practical issues of international management. Comprises three semesters: first two semesters offer twelve course modules (compulsory and elective), third semester for Master's thesis.

The selection committee determines comparability of the Bachelor's degree and English language skills.

English requirements

TOEFL test with at least 95 points (internet-based), IELTS with at least 7.0, PTE Academic Test with at least 76 points, or comparable test proving C1 level (CEFR). Test must be within previous two years. Exemption if Bachelor's degree completed in English-language programme in an OECD country.

Accepted bachelor fields

Bachelor's degree in International Business or comparable with at least 140 credit points corresponding to modules of the Bachelor’s degree program International Business at HTW Berlin. Required modules: Business Administration, Finance (financing and investments), Financial Accounting, Business Mathematics/Statistics, and Economics (General Economics). Must have passed three of these four required modules.
