Binational Double Master's in Biomedical Sciences (IMBS)

IMBS is an international, interdisciplinary full-time double master's jointly run by the University of Freiburg and the University of Buenos Aires. It combines advanced biomedical coursework, lab research, and intercultural study across both partner institutions.

The official IMBS admission information states that a German grade of at least 2.7 or equivalent is required.

English requirements

The official IMBS FAQ states that applicants need English proficiency at minimum B2. Accepted proof listed on the official programme page includes Cambridge, PTE Academic at least 59, IELTS Academic at least 5.5, TOEFL Essentials at least 5 or TOEFL iBT at least 72, OOPT at least 60, TOEIC 785 in listening and reading plus 160 in speaking and 150 in writing, telc B2-C1 University, or UNIcert II or III.

Accepted bachelor fields

Applicants need at least a three-year bachelor's degree in life sciences, medicine, or a similar background. The official programme pages also require at least one year of relevant professional experience.
