Mechanical Engineering

An English-taught TWIN bachelor's programme in mechanical engineering with a strong practical orientation. It combines engineering fundamentals, projects, and modern laboratory training to prepare students for broad industrial engineering work.

Academic requirements

Compulsory scholastic aptitude test: TestAS with a minimum of 100 points in each module (Core Test and Subject-Specific Test: Engineering) or SAT (test requires a minimum composite score of 1,050) is required for all non-EU applicants in order to enrol. Secondary education diploma (A level or equivalent). If required: evidence of periods of study or certificates. Every qualification must be checked individually, depending on the educational background of each student.

English requirements

English language proficiency at level B2.

German requirements

German language skills at level A2 are required. This must be proven by a corresponding certificate within 12 months after the start of the degree programme.

Not applicable for a bachelor's programme; admission requires a valid higher education entrance qualification or a comparable qualification from abroad. The official programme page additionally states that non-EU citizens must submit TestAS or SAT.
