Industrial Engineering with Work-Integrated Option

The Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering is offered in two versions: regular and work-integrated. The work-integrated version includes employment in a company with financial remuneration, alternating academic terms at the university and work terms in the company. The regular version includes an internship in the sixth semester. Both versions share the same courses and group, and switching between versions is possible. The programme combines business and technical courses to qualify graduates for interdisciplinary activities in companies.

Academic requirements

The Abitur, Fachhochschulreife, an equivalent school-leaving certificate or an educational background that qualifies you for higher education is required.

English requirements

B2 level in English is required; the following language certificates are recognised: IELTS: score of at least 5.5, TOEFL (IBT): score of at least 72, TOEFL (PBT): score of at least 543, TOEFL (ITP): score of at least 543, Telc B2 certificate, UNIcert II, Cambridge English Qualification: score of at least 160. Applicants with a German university entrance qualification (Abitur) can provide proof through their certificate (minimum grade 'ausreichend'). English natives and applicants with an English-taught degree can provide proof with a document stating English as the language of instruction.
