Bionics MSc

This master's uses nature as an inspiration for engineering and offers specialisations in bioinspired robotics, biomaterials science, and biomimetics. It trains students to transfer biological principles to technical systems through a block-structured curriculum and an independent research project and thesis.

Academic requirements

Applicants with qualifications obtained outside of the European Higher Education Area must additionally submit documentation of a valid TestAS certificate in the Core-Test and Engineering Module with a standard score of 100 or better. Alternatively, you can submit a Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) or a Graduate Record Examination (GRE, minimum score: Q = 160, V =145, and A = 4.5).

Minimum GPA

The current official programme page and master's admissions page require a minimum bachelor's CGPA of 2.5 according to the Modified Bavarian Formula / German grading system.

English requirements
