This master's programme prepares graduates to shape the future of tourism and hospitality through research, critical analysis, and applied project work. It combines tourism futures studies with research methods, optional internship or study-abroad components, and a research-based master's thesis.

- Academic requirements
Applicants with a first degree in business studies or a business-related field who have been trained in course-related jobs or have successfully studied abroad may receive bonus points. Applicants with a first degree awarded by a non-German institution must prove that their Bachelor's degree is equivalent to a German first degree before applying to Heilbronn University. In order to have their qualifications validated, applicants have to contact the Studienkolleg Konstanz.
- Minimum GPA
- A German average grade of 2.5 or better, or an equivalent international qualification.
- English requirements
- The programme is completely taught in English. Accepted proof includes TOEFL 550 paper / 213 computer / 79 internet, IELTS 6.0, Cambridge CAE minimum C, Cambridge CPE minimum C2, Oxford Test of English minimum 120 with B2 in all modules, or qualifying official English-medium school or degree documents. Proof must be submitted by the application deadline and cannot be submitted later.

- Applicants need an excellent or good first degree in Business Studies or in a business-related discipline with 210 ECTS. At least 50% of the bachelor's courses must be related to business, and applicants with a 180-ECTS degree may obtain the missing 30 ECTS during the master's programme.
