Commercial Vehicle Technology

Commercial Vehicle Technology is an interdisciplinary master's developed with close industry cooperation around modern commercial-vehicle systems. It covers electrification, hybridisation, ADAS, autonomous driving, AI, simulation, digital twins, and human-machine interaction across the vehicle life cycle.

Academic requirements

Qualified Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) or Master's degree, Transcript of records (ToR), Certified translation (in German or English) of degree certificate and transcript if not in English/German, Description of subjects covered during previous studies

Minimum GPA

No fixed minimum GPA is published.

English requirements

The official CVT page accepts TOEFL 550 paper-based, 213 computer-based, 80 internet-based, IELTS 6.0, or exemption when the previous bachelor's degree was taught entirely in English.

German requirements

Level A1 or higher (CEFR). Higher level certificate (B1 or higher) increases admission chances. Only certificates from Goethe Institute or comparable accepted.

Suitable prior studies include engineering, computer science, and related technical fields.
