Programme Overview

Commercial Vehicle Technology is an interdisciplinary master's developed with close industry cooperation around modern commercial-vehicle systems. It covers electrification, hybridisation, ADAS, autonomous driving, AI, simulation, digital twins, and human-machine interaction across the vehicle life cycle.

Admission Requirements

Academic requirements: Qualified Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) or Master's degree, Transcript of records (ToR), Certified translation (in German or English) of degree certificate and transcript if not in English/German, Description of subjects covered during previous studies
Minimum GPA: No fixed minimum GPA is published.
English requirements: The official CVT page accepts TOEFL 550 paper-based, 213 computer-based, 80 internet-based, IELTS 6.0, or exemption when the previous bachelor's degree was taught entirely in English.
German requirements: Level A1 or higher (CEFR). Higher level certificate (B1 or higher) increases admission chances. Only certificates from Goethe Institute or comparable accepted.
