Research Master's in Neurocognitive Psychology

This English-language research master's programme offers hands-on laboratory experience and research-oriented training in neurocognitive psychology. Students build expertise across psychology, neuroscience, methods, and practical research work.

English requirements

Adequate English at CEFR B2 is required. The official degree page accepts an English-taught university degree or an English certificate at B2 level such as TOEFL or IELTS. The proof must not be older than 2 years at the time of application; if the submitted evidence is higher than B2, it must not be older than 6 years.

German requirements

Not necessary for admission, but recommended for working with patients or experimental data acquisition with participants.

Accepted bachelor fields

Applicants need a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in a closely related programme in psychology or cognitive sciences, or another suitable previous degree in natural sciences, mathematics, computer science, hearing technology/audiology, or medicine worth at least 180 ECTS credits.

Possible career fields include an academic career (PhD), research in psychology and neuroscience, neuropsychological assessment and therapy in neurological hospitals and rehabilitation units, areas focusing on human information processing and decision making: human-machine interfaces, usability, cognitive ergonomics, data science.
