Applied Artificial Intelligence (MAAI) – MSc

This master's programme combines application-oriented and research-oriented specialisations in artificial intelligence. Students learn to apply and further develop AI in areas such as healthcare, engineering, logistics, digital business, and software engineering.

Minimum GPA

A minimum grade of 2.5 or better (German grading system) is required.

English requirements

Applicants must prove high English proficiency by one of the following: TOEFL 550 paper / 213 computer / 79 internet, IELTS minimum 6.0, Cambridge CAE minimum C, AACSB English B2 Ability Test minimum approved, or Oxford Test of English at least 120 points with B2 in all modules. The proof must not be older than 4 years by the application deadline.

Accepted bachelor fields

Applicants need a first degree with 210 ECTS. Applicants with a first degree in computer science, engineering, economics, or related fields who have at least 180 ECTS may also apply and then must complete additional credits before registering for the master's thesis. At least 50 ECTS are required across mathematics, computer science, and artificial intelligence, with at least 10 ECTS in each area.
