Sustainable Land Management and Conservation (Double Degree Programme)

This two-year full-time double-degree master's programme is offered with partner universities abroad and trains students in sustainable land management, conservation planning, and applied landscape analysis. It prepares graduates to assess land-use impacts, implement conservation measures, and advise land users in different world regions.

If the previous degree was not earned in an English-language programme, proof is required through TOEFL at least 85 iBT, IELTS 6.5, or comparable proof; Anhalt also states that adequate language certificates combined with an aptitude test can be accepted.

Accepted bachelor fields

A university degree in nature conservation, agroecology, environmental science, agricultural science, or a related subject with a standard period of study of at least three years is required.

Graduates are able to work independently in planning and implementing nature conservation measures in agricultural landscapes, to work scientifically with the aforementioned knowledge and skills and to practically advise land users, especially farmers, in sustainable land management.
