European Master's in Global Studies

International research-based Erasmus Mundus master's programme in Global Studies offered by a consortium of five European universities, combining history, cultural and area studies, social sciences, and economics to analyse global connectedness.

English requirements

Applicants whose native language is not English must provide one of the following: TOEFL paper-based 550 or computer-based 213; TOEFL iBT minimum 80 on the old scale or 4 overall with no section below 4 on the 2026 scale; IELTS minimum 6.5 with no section below 6.5; Cambridge C2 Proficiency grades A-C; or Cambridge C1 Advanced grades A-B. Applicants with a degree from a university where English was the language of instruction can submit an official university certificate instead.

Accepted bachelor fields

A three-year bachelor's degree or recognised equivalent from an accredited institution in the humanities or social sciences, with at least 25% global-studies-relevant courses such as history, area studies, economics, cultural studies, sociology, political science, or human geography.
