Ecology

English-taught master's programme in Ecology that studies organisms, ecosystems, biodiversity, and ecological processes through research-oriented field, laboratory, and analytical work.

Academic requirements

students should be enthusiastic about ecology. A good knowledge of basic ecological concepts is important, and not being afraid of learning modern statistics certainly helps.

English requirements

The reviewed official University of Bremen language-certificates page lists examples including TOEFL iBT 95+, IELTS 7.0-8.0, PTE Academic 76+, Cambridge Advanced minimum grade C, TOEIC Listening/Reading 945 plus Speaking 180 and Writing 180, or UNIcert III.

Accepted bachelor fields

The reviewed official ecology application page states that applicants need a BSc or diploma in biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, geosciences, chemistry, environmental sciences, ecology, or another subject-related programme with at least 180 credit points. It also states that the previous degree must include at least 3 CP in ecology.
