Electrical and Microsystems Engineering

Electrical engineering and microsystems engineering are the core constituents of this Master's degree. The course's interdisciplinary structure and modular design provide you with a multitude of options. The programme can be studied either in English or in German. It is a full-time programme, designed to be completed in three semesters, consisting of two theoretical semesters and one semester for the Master's thesis.

Minimum GPA

Overall examination grade of 'good' (2,5) or better, or proof of being in the best 51% of cohort

German requirements

DSH 1 or TestDaF (with at least TND 3 in all elements); Goethe certificate, telc certificate (at least C 1); DSD Deutsches Sprachdiplom (level II with at least B2 in all elements); DSP II certificate (level C1).

Accepted bachelor fields

Applicants should hold a first university degree in a relevant programme with at least six semesters of study, in the natural sciences (physics, chemistry) or technical field (electrical engineering, mechatronics, renewable energy technology and energy efficiency, intelligent systems engineering, microsystems technology, industrial sensor technology) or hold an equivalent German or international degree.
