Sustainable International Agriculture (SIA), MSc

Joint consecutive MSc of the Universities of Göttingen and Kassel focused on agricultural production systems, agribusiness, and rural development in an international context, with study tracks in tropical and international agriculture, agricultural economics, or animal production systems.

Academic requirements

undergraduate degree (BSc) of at least six semesters

Minimum GPA

Above-average undergraduate results; DAAD states the minimum is second-class upper division and that a good grade is preferred.

English requirements

Accepted proof includes Cambridge English Qualification 160, IELTS 6.0, TOEFL iBT 80, NULTE B2, UNIcert II, or PTE Academic 59. The certificate must be no more than three years old at the time of application; confirmation letters based only on previous studies in English are not accepted.

Accepted bachelor fields

Six-semester bachelor's degree of at least 180 ECTS in Agricultural Sciences or a related subject. Applicants must prove at least 60 ECTS in Agricultural Sciences, Agribusiness, Biology, Geography, Nutrition or Food Sciences, Forest Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Veterinary Medicine, or Economics.
