European Master's in Classical Cultures (EMCC)

This joint European master's combines ancient history, classical philology, and archaeology in an international consortium. It emphasises the classical roots of European identity, multilingual study, and mobility across partner universities.

Academic requirements

Knowledge of Ancient Greek or Latin is another requirement. At the University of Salamanca, knowledge of both Ancient Greek and Latin is required.

Minimum GPA

No fixed minimum GPA is published on the current official programme page.

English requirements

The official EMCC page requires certified English at B2 level. It also states that students need certified C1 or native-level command of the language used at the university where they begin the programme.

German requirements

certified knowledge of the language spoken at the university where the programme is taken up is required (at least C1 or native language)
