Three-and-a-half-year doctoral programme in economic sociology and political economy, offered jointly by the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies, University of Cologne, and University of Duisburg-Essen. Taught in English.
Candidates should hold a Master's degree or equivalent in political science, sociology, or related fields and possess strong English skills. Students with foreign degrees may be admitted if their degrees are equivalent to a German "Diplom", "Magister" or MA.
