Programme Overview

This interdisciplinary BSc provides broad engineering foundations across the central engineering disciplines before students choose one of several specialisations. It is TUHH's only engineering bachelor's programme that can be studied in English and is designed to equip students for flexible progression into master's study and later doctoral work.

Admission Requirements

Academic requirements: General university entrance qualification ('Abitur') or equivalent
Minimum GPA: No explicit GPA threshold stated on the cited DAAD and TUHH pages.
English requirements: For the Engineering Science bachelor's programme, TUHH requires English proof at enrolment, not at application. Accepted examples on the official TUHH bachelor language page are TOEFL iBT 90, IELTS Academic 6.5, Cambridge Advanced, or Cambridge Proficiency; German proof is not required for this programme.
German requirements: English and/or German language skills must be proven for application and/or enrolment.
