Programme Overview

An English-language MSc focused on transforming food processing for a healthy and sustainable diet. The programme deepens scientific and technological knowledge in food processing, analysis, modelling, and product development with strong laboratory and pilot-plant work.

Admission Requirements

Minimum GPA: At least 70 points in the subject-specific assessment listed by Hohenheim.
English requirements: English B2. Accepted proof includes TOEFL iBT at least 90, IELTS at least 6.5, or UNIcert II with at least grade 'good'.
Accepted bachelor fields: Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree with a concentration on natural sciences or engineering. The official application page explicitly lists food science and biotechnology, food technology, food engineering, food chemistry, biotechnology, process engineering, and the University of Hohenheim bachelor's programme in nutritional science; other degrees may be recognized as equivalent.
