Innovative Textiles (BEng)

This bachelor's programme combines textile engineering, modern textile chemistry, and application-oriented laboratory and company-based training. International degree-seeking students usually enter at Hof from the third semester after completing relevant basic studies at their home university.

Academic requirements

Applicants require a school leaving certificate qualifying for higher education. Details vary for EU nationals, partner university applicants, or free movers.

English requirements

TOEFL minimum 90 or IELTS 6.5 or above.

German requirements

International applicants normally entering in semester 3 require basic German at CEFR A1, supported by an official test certificate.

Accepted bachelor fields

General higher education entrance qualification, subject-linked university entrance qualification, University of Applied Sciences entrance qualification, or professional qualification, plus successful completion of relevant basic studies at the home university for international applicants entering in the third semester. Applicants for bachelor's programmes with a university entrance certificate from outside Germany and without a previous degree completed in the EU require prior uni-assist assessment.
