Natural Resources Management and Development (Master of Science)

This application-oriented master's prepares experts to analyse and manage problems related to natural resources use and sustainability. It combines management, economics, governance, and technical perspectives in an intercultural and interdisciplinary setting.

Minimum GPA

At least satisfactory (3.0) in the German grading system.

English requirements

Applicants must prove very good English by IELTS Academic or IELTS Online overall 6.0 with at least 5.5 in each section, TOEFL iBT 79 for tests taken before January 21, 2026, TOEFL iBT 4.0 with no part below 3.5 for tests taken from January 21, 2026, or Cambridge ESOL FCE. Native English speakers must prove English was the language of instruction during school and university education.

German requirements

Foreign applicants applying for a DAAD EPOS scholarship: basic German language skills are recommended.

Accepted bachelor fields

Applicants need a completed university degree with a substantial share of subject-related content at bachelor's level or an equivalent qualification from a state or state-recognized higher education institution.
