The Master's programme in 'Urban Agglomerations', focusing on relevant practices of sustainable urban development in Germany in an international perspective, leads to the international academic degree Master of Science (MSc). The overall concept of the programme aims to approach and solve complex urban problems through work in interdisciplinary teams and to prepare decision-makers for their future tasks in both developed and developing countries. Students spend the first two semesters in Frankfurt. The third semester is an international exchange semester at one of the more than 20 cooperating partner universities. In the fourth semester, students return to Frankfurt to write their Master's theses.
Professional experience of at least one year is required, which can only be waived in the case of excellent final results in the first degree.

Semester contribution: Administration fees are currently approx. 350 EUR per semester. They also cover public transportation in the greater Frankfurt area.
