MSc Renewable Energy Systems

The Master's programme is made up of two semesters of theory and practice with modules in Mathematics: Numerical Mathematics, Data Acquisition and Processing, Wind Energy, Bioenergy - Biofuels, Solar Energy, Hydropower, Geothermal Energy, Energy Storage, Energy Management, Life Cycle Assessment, Energy Policy. Master's thesis in third semester. Taught in person only.

Graduate Record Examination (GRE) for applicants who do not have a Bachelor's qualification from an EU country

English requirements

B2 level demonstrated by Abitur/Fachhochschulzeugnis or accepted certificates (TOEFL, IELTS, CAE/CPE/FCE).

German requirements

A2 level German language certificate required for safety in labs. Only accepted certificate is Goethe Institute 'Start Deutsch 2' at level A2.

Accepted bachelor fields

Environmental engineering, process engineering or related engineering sub-fields (electrical or mechanical engineering).
