Artificial Intelligence and Industrial Digitalisation

Seven-semester bachelor's programme focused on the future of mechanical and plant engineering, covering intelligent systems, smart sensors, networked machines, automated quality control, and AI-driven digital technologies for modern production.

Academic requirements

The general requirement is that an applicant holds an academic qualification that would enable him or her to study the chosen subject in his or her home country. International applicants who do not hold a German university entrance qualification should submit their qualifications to the Studienkolleg – Center for International Students in Konstanz.

Minimum GPA

English requirements

Same requirements as other Heilbronn bachelor programmes: IELTS min. 6.0, TOEFL iBT min. 79, TOEFL PBT min. 550, Cambridge CAE min. C, or Oxford Test of English at least 120 points and B2 in all modules.

German requirements

telc Deutsch A1–B1, Goethe Certificate A1–B1 (minimum A1, B1 recommended). Before the beginning of the fifth semester, proof of a minimum of DSH-1, telc B2, or Goethe B2 will be required. An online German language test is required before the start of the course.
