Programme Overview

This international MSc examines neuroscientific aspects of physical activity in sports and healthcare settings. The programme focuses on therapy for neurological and neurodegenerative diseases and injuries, and on training and performance development from a neuroscientific perspective.

Admission Requirements

Minimum GPA: 2.5 or better in the German grading system.
English requirements: English level C1. Accepted proof includes TOEFL iBT 95, IELTS 7.0, Cambridge CAE, UNIcert III, or equivalent recognised proof; university-issued confirmation letters alone are not accepted.
German requirements: German language skills are not mandatory for admission, but strongly recommended if the internship is planned in German facilities.
Accepted bachelor fields: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in sports science, health science, physiotherapy, neuroscience, or a related field. The transcript must show at least two of the following: 12 ECTS in physiology, 12 ECTS in research methods/statistics, and 12 ECTS in the bachelor's thesis.
