Chemical Engineering – Specialisation: Process Systems Engineering

This English-language master's specialisation trains students to design and operate complex chemical and biochemical production systems using mathematical models and modern computer tools for simulation and optimization. It adds subjects such as process control, industrial automation, and software systems including Aspen and GProms.

Academic requirements

Admission is based on the overall academic performance, recommendation letters (two minimum), proof of English proficiency (TOEFL or IELTS or Cambridge First Certificate), statement of purpose, and further qualifications.

Minimum GPA

English requirements

Proof of English skills at least at CEFR level B2 is required. The programme page states the faculty does not itself demand TOEFL or IELTS, but such tests are often required by embassies during the visa process.

The programme is intended for excellent students who have a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or an equivalent field.
