Cognitive Science

RPTU's Cognitive Science master's is a research-oriented interdisciplinary programme combining psychology and social science with linguistics, computer science, and biology or neuroscience. It is designed for students who want broad training across the major empirical and theoretical areas of cognitive science.

English requirements

The official Cognitive Science admissions page accepts TOEFL iBT 80 or paper-based TOEFL 550, IELTS 6.0, or proof that the previous degree programme was conducted entirely in English.

German requirements

No proof of German language proficiency is necessary at the time of application.

Accepted bachelor fields

Suitable previous studies include psychology, linguistics, computer science, biology, cognitive science, and related fields such as social sciences, biomedical engineering, philosophy, and speech or language pathology when the applicant can justify the fit.
