Global Political Economy and Development (MA GPED)

Interdisciplinary master's programme in global political economy and development that builds critical understanding of global capitalism, North-South relations, development cooperation, and pluralist approaches to political economy through theory and practice.

Academic requirements

One year of socio-political engagements or relevant volunteer/work experience (e.g. international organisations, political institutions, university politics, NGOs, etc)

Minimum GPA

No fixed minimum GPA is published.

English requirements

English at C1 level is required. The programme FAQ states IELTS 7.5 or TOEFL iBT 95 if the previous degree was not completed in English.

German requirements

German language proficiency is not required at the time of application. Applicants are not expected to demonstrate B2 or any specific level of German language competency.
