In the age of digitisation, with current application areas such as networked and autonomous driving or industry 4.0, the discipline of electronics is essential. The programme promotes a close fusion of electronics with computer science and establishes a holistic understanding of system development.
The application for a study programme in Germany requires a so-called Hochschulzugangsberechtigung (HZB - university entrance qualification or higher education entrance qualification). As a rule, this is a school-leaving qualification equivalent to the standard of the German 'Abitur' or 'Fachabitur'. As a basic requirement, the certificate has to be a higher education entrance qualification in the country of origin.
