Programme Overview

Students choose between two study tracks: A) Europe, Memory, and Diversity, examining political processes of memory, EU commemorative landscape, and identity challenges. B) States, People, and the Question of Identity in Europe, examining fundamental notions (pluralism, democracy) and current challenges (nationalism, migration). Includes German language classes (A1-A2), intercultural workshop, buddy programme, and social programme.

Admission Requirements

Minimum GPA: Above-average bachelor's degree required; no specific numeric minimum published.
English requirements: Participants must have a good command of English to be able to follow the academic courses and participate in discussions. Participants do not have to have any prior knowledge of German. For participants with a higher German language level (B1 to C1), we will offer the possibility of independently carrying out project work (or similar) in German.
