English-taught master's programme in biodiversity, ecology, and evolution that combines theoretical foundations with modern and classical research methods, data analysis, and curatorial or large-scale research components.

Applicants whose native language is not English and who did not complete their previous degree in English must prove English at B2 CEFR.

German requirements

German language skills at the A1 level of the CEFR.

Accepted bachelor fields

Requires a first university degree in biology, geosciences, horticulture, forest sciences, agricultural sciences, bioinformatics, veterinary medicine, or another natural science degree with at least 30 ECTS in biodiversity, ecology, and evolution, including at least 10 ECTS of laboratory and/or fieldwork.
