Interdisciplinary MA programme in the cultures, histories, religions, societies, and languages of Southeast Asia with regional specialisations in Austronesian Studies, Thai Studies, and Vietnamese Studies.

Accepted bachelor fields

Bachelor's degree in Southeast Asian Studies or a comparable philological or regional-studies subject with at least 90 ECTS in Southeast Asian Studies or Southeast Asian languages. Applicants without a directly related degree can be admitted if they completed language courses equivalent to two years of Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, or another Southeast Asian language and can prove equivalent knowledge in a Southeast Asia-related discipline.
