Online Pre-Year Engineering Science – Co-hosted by THWS and GJU

The Online Pre-Year Engineering Science is a fully online 13-month preparatory programme co-hosted by THWS (Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt, Germany) and the German Jordanian University (GJU, Jordan). It is designed for students who do not yet meet the direct entry requirements for German universities, building a strong academic foundation for future Bachelor's studies. The curriculum prepares students specifically for the THWS online Bachelor's degree in Engineering Science and includes Probability and Statistics, Physics, Computing Fundamentals, Engineering Economics, and Applied Mathematics for Engineers. An optional German language course is also available online. Upon successful completion, students are eligible for admission to the THWS online Bachelor's Engineering Science programme. Note: this is a preparatory pre-degree course, not a standalone degree programme.

Fees charged in Jordanian Dinar (JOD) by GJU: 1,500 JOD for Semester 1 (October–January); 1,500 JOD for Semester 2 (February–June); 750 JOD for Summer Semester (July–August). Total: 3,750 JOD for the full 13-month programme. No THWS semester contribution is charged for this pre-year (non-enrolled) programme.
