Commercial Vehicle Technology

This MSc brings together mechanical and process engineering, electrical and computer engineering, and computer science to provide specialised knowledge in commercial vehicle technology. The programme is taught in English, offers 60–80 places per year, and uses a holistic, cross-disciplinary approach across all vehicle types. Selection is based on subject coverage, grades, recommendation letters, motivation statement, CV, and language proficiency.

Minimum GPA

Bachelor applicants with final grades between 1.0 and 3.0 (German scale) are considered. A selection procedure applies.

English requirements

TOEFL iBT 80 / CBT 213 / pBT 550 or IELTS 6.0 minimum required. Applicants whose bachelor studies were conducted entirely in English are exempt from submitting a separate certificate.

Accepted bachelor fields

Bachelor or equivalent degree in engineering, computer science, or related fields. Coursework should span mechanical or process engineering, electrical or computer engineering, and computer science. Bachelor applicants with German grades 1.0–3.0 considered; diploma or master applicants with grades 1.0–2.3 weighted more favourably.
