Quantum Science and Technology

Interdisciplinary master's programme that translates current research in physics, chemistry, mathematics, and engineering into applications such as quantum sensors, quantum algorithms, and quantum computers.

Academic requirements

International students are required to complete the curricular analysis form. Attach the description of the contents of the courses you have taken at your university to your application.

Minimum GPA

No fixed minimum GPA is published; admission is based on curricular analysis, written motivation, and the aptitude assessment.

English requirements

Applicants whose native language or university language of instruction is not English must provide proof of adequate English according to TUM-recognized certificates. Alternatively, at least 10 ECTS in the bachelor's programme taught and examined in English can be accepted with the official TUM verification form.

German requirements

Applicants not providing proof of German language skills can only be granted admission on condition to complete one module providing integrative knowledge of the German language within the first two semesters.
